Today, WVU Parkersburg Vice President Olivia Reeder led our Introduction to Value-Added Agriculture class through a hands-on lesson in making salsa, pico de gallo, and salsa verde. Students participated in every step of the process, from preparing the ingredients to creating the finished products, and even took home samples of their hard work. It was a great opportunity to learn how fresh agricultural products can be transformed into something with added value!
