Preservation part 3: Can’t keep tomatoes all year. Can only eat so much salad. 2 pots of tomato sauce reduced and ready for canning. We freeze some, can some. We had several sauce making days. Stopped at about 7 gallons. Still using sauce from 2023 . Ahh….if pasta had no calories, the sauce would be gone.

Farm life
Is that time of year when you put out the driveway markers. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to see the driveway in a field of snow. We drill holes in the ground with a 39 inch masonry bit (we have a lot of stone) and drop the markers in. It takes about 60 or 70 markers.
