Thank you to all of our followers, friends and family who have contributed to our Wefunder raise. As you know, we were attempting to raise at least $200K to fund construction of the new brewery on the farm and as of today, we're at just over one third of our goal. With just over a week to go on Wefunder, barring some miracle, we are not going to reach $200K.
In addition, some of you know that Trevor has Crohn's disease. This condition is aggravated by stress and there are few things more stressful than trying to open your own business. Stress levels have been very high the past couple of months to the point where Trevor has been ill a handful of times. We are both in agreement that health comes before business and Trevor has decided to step down from his role with Heart & Solar.
It's with deep regret that we announce that Heart & Solar Brew Farm plans are on hold. Les is re-evaluating the project based on current market and economic conditions - inflation, rising interest rates, supply chain shortages all need to be considered. He'll post updates as decisions are made.
Again, we thank everyone for their support and should plans be resurrected, we hope that you will consider supporting the brewery again.

Finally got around to picking the wild Sumac. Most people probably drive by this stuff on the side of the road or find it to be a nuisance w**d. Here at Heart & Solar, we love using it for pink lemonade or adding a little citrusy boost to a beer. Anyone else use it?

Had a fantastic weekend in Pittsburgh. Made a lot of really awesome connections, drank a ton of great beer, and even took a picture with Yeast Man!

Been a fun weekend thus far at AHA National Homebrewers Conference.

Met some awesome people, tried some great beers, learned alot, and saw some cats.

Rounding out the weekend with Social Club pouring this am and then the last day of the conference. Looking forward to coming back as a pro brewery next year!
