Turned some scrap wood from an old shipping crate into a fun toy for the goat kids. Gives them something to jump on and destroy!

The fancy chamoisee Alpine kid walking over at 0:05 is available. Super nice breeding behind her with dam being Bella (out of Tempo Aquila Living on Mars) and sired by Columbo (out of an Olentangy buck and our GCH Coralee). She is bred to our young Alpine buck for February kids. This pretty doe can do great things for someone in the show ring one day.

When you are to lazy to even get up to eat your treat, they might be a little spoiled!

Sadly nether of the does kindled last week as hoped, so rebred and now looking for early November babies. The weather has suddenly cooled this week so thinking about breeding a second set of does for mid November. Which would give us 4 litters in November! Also means standard nestboxes for them as the first does will get the dropdown boxes. Not a huge fun, but not wishing to lose more time if the first does are open again as the weather was still a bit warm.

What better toy for a donkey than an old handless bucket. Way more fun than any ball ever was. Roll it around the pen, fill with dirt and stick your nose in 😆

Hay saver feeder. Fast idea tried one day after cleaning up hay pulled out on the ground. Works pretty nice. Just have to hold up the panels, or remove, in order to pitchfork the hay in.

Fresh batch of feed mixed for our rabbits. Averaging 90 pounds per month with the current herd of 5 does and 3 bucks. That will greatly increase as litters arrive.

We've had great success feeding 50% Organic Modesto Milling rabbit pellet, which is spendy but contains quality ingredients with no soy, corn, grain by-products, or dyes to make garbage feed look good. And 50% grains to decrease cost, containing cracked peas, whole wheat, oats, rolled barley, boss, flaxmeal, vitamin mix, and probiotics (our 12% All Purpose grain plus added sunflowers works well). Grass hay is always offered, along with sunflowers, comfrey, or carrot tops when in season.

Adults are maintaining weight without getting fat, kits are often over the breed charts on growth, and we've never lost a kit to anything feed related.

Healthy feed = healthy rabbits = healthy meat
