We are a small facility located in Parma, Idaho where quality and affordability meet.

We offer stallion services, weanling prospects, yearling prospects, quail eggs for eating & hatching as well as chicks and adults. Our equine breeding program is based around producing horses and mules that are trainable, conformationally correct, and affordable. We offer stallion services, weanling prospects, yearling prospects, and training services on a limited basis. While our main focus is on our equine program we also enjoy becoming more self sufficient. We have a small covey of Coturnix Quail offering quality birds in jumbo and standard sizes. We offer everything from hatching eggs, eating eggs, chicks, and even laying hens or ready to process roosters.

I’ve been struggling to post daily not for a lack of doing things throughout the day but I forget to take pictures and videos or I’m not sure how I should edit them😅

Unfortunately the algorithm won’t push what little I do post out to people unless I’m frequently posting, so here’s a beautiful fall sunset from tonight.

Who decides to go broody while also molting? That would be 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝑱𝒖𝒅𝒚…Do you think she knows she’s not sitting on anything? If she does she clearly doesn’t care😅

Spring will be here before we know it! We’ve made a few changes for our 2027 season.

📅 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻: March 15th – July 15th
➡️ 𝗡𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵

We made the difficult decision to shorten our breeding season. By the end of this season, the studs and all of us felt like we were melting in the heat 😅 We feel this schedule will allow us to finish the season strong while keeping everyone’s best interest in mind.

We haven’t been posting much but I promise we’ve been up to stuff😅

We are working on replacing many of our quail breeding groups with younger birds. First fall hatch moved to the brooder today and will be headed to their new home tomorrow. Our other incubator has eggs due to hatch in 2 weeks.

Interested in raising quail from hatch to adult but don’t have an incubator? We will be offering day old chicks during the 2027 season.

What a beautiful view🤩

Nothing like the sight of 40 tons of hay at home! This should keep everyone fed for a bit🐴 Having it delivered instead of hauling and hand stacking it ourselves felt like cheating but I’m not complaining😂

Can we talk about how dusty chicks are as they hatch??🐣

After hatching all spring it was time to deep clean the incubators and I mean DEEP clean before starting to hatch replacements for our breeding groups this fall. I’m very impressed with how easy it is to take off the turner motor in the base as well as remove the fan and cover from the top with just a small screw driver. Between the air compressor, rubbing alcohol and some shop towels these guys are as good as new! If you are looking for an affordable incubator the maticoopx should be on the list.

We’re excited to introduce Progressive Pied Coturnix to the list of varieties we offer! 🤍🖤

What makes progressive pied so cool is that they hatch looking solid in color and progressively get more and more white feathers 🪶 Every bird is unique in the amount of white and pattern of white, making them super fun to watch grow!

We’ll be growing this line throughout the coming months, with hatching eggs, chicks, and adult birds available during the 2027 season🐦🩶
