Each morning, Farmer Jeff G. checks the trash cans for this curious raccoon family and helps them climb back out with a ladder. While raccoons often get a bad rap, they’re an important part of a healthy ecosystem; helping clean up organic matter, disperse seeds, and keep nature in balance.

A little moment of appreciation for the bees; these tiny workers play a massive role in protecting our food system and pollinating so much of what we eat every single day. From fruits and vegetables to flowers and herbs, life as we know it would not be possible without them.
