The Florida Department of Agriculture is proposing a significant change to the definition of “dressed poultry” for small poultry farm producers. Under Notice 29655730, FDACS would now mandate that poultry be sold with the head, feet, and internal organs intact. This marks a major change from the previous standard, which permitted the sale of whole birds with the head, organs and feet removed.

This change would:
❌ Hurt small poultry farms NOT help them
❌ Confuse customers and even turn many away
❌ Be Unsanitary
❌ Increase food waste

Goose egg compared to a chicken egg. Goose eggs have a little more nutrients than a chicken egg, but 1 goose egg is equal to 3 chicken eggs. The yolk is richer and tastes "eggier". I thought they were good. Dan thought they tasted funny.
