Well. What a day. I'm afraid we're not going to make it home by 5pm for the plant drop.
We've been running literally all day getting building supplies, or at least trying. Places that post online they are open but are actually closed are annoying. I even canceled going kayaking this am.
Anyhow. My deepest apologies. I feel awful after promising. So how about I have everything up by 10am Saturday? Next week it will go back to Friday.

Got trim done in our bathroom and 1/2 done in the bedroom and stairway.
That along with time spent organizing and watering the greenhouse has me feeling pretty good.

Im broken hearted this morning. I went outside this morning to let my 2 "boys" out to play.
Two silkie roosters that hatched this winter, Skipper and Sailor. My boyz.
Twice a day I picked them up and loved on them taking them in and out of their cage to play.
Its my own fault. I didn't sleep the night before due to anxiety over the thunderstorm and worked outside all day. I was beyond exhausted.
I put them out to play in the afternoon after the rain stopped. After the open house i finished up moving mother plants.Then we went out last night to grab a bite and stupid me forgot to go put my boys up.
One night. In a shade house that's enclosed. But something got in there and took them both. I followed the trail of feathers up the hill crying.
My boys are gone and I feel horrible. 😭😭😭

Good morning all. With all the activity this week around the flood damage I realized last night I did not do a plant drop friday. It couldn't have happened with the mess, but i should've said something. My apologies. Life will get back to normal this week
