Hello Friends! Tomorrow will be our last farm stand of 2026. Things have really slowed down for us. Unfortunately tomorrow we will not have green beans or strawberries. We have limited quantities of patty pan, green zucchini and cucumbers. What we will have are tomatoes, baked goods and some home decor. We will be at the farm stand from 8am- noon. If you get a chance swing by to say hello!

Day 2! Today we mowed down the grass really low and took our two wheel tractor and power harrowed the plot and then raked all of the grass into rows so that we can clean the grass up and start making our beds and walkways. Normally after mowing we would cover the area with a black silage tarp for a extended period of time and allow Mother Nature to do her thing. Unfortunately time is not on our side so instead after mowing we use our two wheel tractor and power harrow the plot. We could just mow low and add compost but this grass was tall and started to go to seed so we are taking preventative measures and discarding the grass. Stay tuned for what happens next!!

Friends!!! Come along with us as we prepare an overgrown plot into 1 of 2 of our strawberry plots for the 1,200 plants that we are getting for next year. Here we have w**d wack the tall grass down to a reasonable height so that we can mow it as low as possible. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Hello friends!

We did a walkthrough of the fields this morning, and it looks like things are slowing down for us a bit right now. With the demand for fresh strawberries all summer long, we also have 1,200 strawberry plants to prepare for delivery in the middle of September!

Because of this, we’ll be adjusting our hours for the time being and will only be open Saturdays from 8 AM–noon, until things hopefully pick back up for us.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday morning!

Please spread the word and share.
