Day 7 of preparing for 1,200 strawberries being delivered the week of September 21st. Mowed down and cleaned up the outside walkways to find the black silage tarp we put down in the spring. We didn’t quite finish clearing the walkways so that will be tomorrow’s task and then hopefully removing the black tarp.

Days 4,5 and 6 of getting ready for 1,200 strawberries being delivered on September 21st. We went from two made beds to six beds. In this plot we have all six beds made. The beds are not ready for strawberry planting yet as we need to lay drip line and w**d block down but that can wait. Next challenge is to get the next plot mowed down, tarp off, get the plot laid out and start making beds. 🤞🏻🤞🏻we get this done!

Hi friends! Sorry for the late post but the stand will NOT be open today. We are in crunch time with less than 10 days before our 1200 strawberry plants arrive so our focus must be to get that ready. In addition, the only things we have available are tomatoes and honey. If you are looking for those things, reach out and let us know.

Good Evening Friends. It seems our tomatoes have really been enjoying the current weather because we have quite a few of them. Because of that we will be opening the Farm Stand tomorrow morning 8am - noon or until we sell out. The tomatoes will be accompanied by honey, baked goods and some pressed flowers. If you get a chance swing by and see us tomorrow morning.

Day 3 of getting ready for the 1,200 strawberry plants coming the week of September 21st. Now that the plot is mowed down and cleaned up we make our beds. How we make our beds is we roll out cardboard paper and then lay 4 inches of compost. Our beds are 36 inches wide by 50 feet long. Next we lay wood chips in our walkway. Our walkways are 24 inches wide. Stay tuned for some videos to show you how we build our beds.

Hi friends! We are OPEN! We will be here 8-12 with all the tomatoes you could want plus very limited cucumbers, zucchini, and cookies. Bonus surprise- we were able to restock some late season honey. Pulled and extracted yesterday! We thought we’d be done for the season but the bees had other plans! Come see us for our last official stand of the season.
