Tall Oaks coming soon Over fifty years ago Francis Hasse purchased a grocery store with a beer license in rural Pasadena. Our message is simple and straight forward.

Her six year old daughter stood on the front steps, hugging herself with glee, exclaiming "Mommy has a candy store!"

By the third day Miss Francis added a bar, then six tables and 24 chairs and started selling food, at first just sandwiches, stews, crab soup, hamburgers and crab cake sandwiches. By the early 50's she expanded the dining room and the menu, and then again in the 70's to accommodat

e the growing business. New owners Dennis Walz and Joe Golden want to extend that tradition by bringing their own unique ideas and menu to a much loved establishment. The restaurant has been completely renovated to create a place where family and friends can enjoy great food and each other’s company. We set out to revive the restaurant and continue with it's name to give Pasadena a neighborhood place to eat.

Cashew Crusted Breast of Chicken – Filled with herb cheese, topped with a raspberry sauce, served with rice and vegetable medley.

Louisiana Style Seafood Combo – 4oz beer battered cat fish filet, (3) tender cornmeal crusted oysters and (4) Cajun Shrimp, served with slaw and sautéed corn.

Slow Roasted Strip Loin Imperial – 6oz Slow roasted strip loin topped with 3oz of jumbo lump crab imperial served with roasted red potatoes and fresh sautéed green beans.

Fresh Seared Ahi Tuna – Served with jasmine rice and seaweed slaw on a bok choy stir fry.
