Falconry Bird Abatement

Falconry Bird Abatement Falconry Bird Abatement is an efficient way to deter pest birds with the use of Birds of Prey. By nature the Falcon is a predator of multiple species.

We have trained falcons to scare away and eliminate territorial pests. This page is specifically about Falconry and the current business known as Abatement. I have worked with raptors since 2009 and officially started doing abatement in 2011. I flew a team of four falcons in a blueberry farm in order to get rid of pest birds that were eating the crop. Many current farmers around the world pay expe

rienced falconers to protect their crops using trained raptors. This technique is very popular and it’s increasing rapidly all over the world. This method is very common in blueberries, cherries, grapes, and apple farms around the US. Abatement is not just popular in farms, but as well in dumps and airports. Raptors chase and scare away pest birds that are infecting dumps and interfering in airports. There is still a lot to learn from these incredible creatures and there use is priceless. Special credit and thanks to the following companies I have worked and affiliated with: American Bird Abatement Services (A.B.A.S), Inka Falcon, and Columbia Basin College Hawk Wrestling Club for the great learning experiences.
