Bottling day, and one we won’t forget.

What started in the vineyard and cellar came together with the people who make this all possible, friends, family, a full day of hands, laughs, and a lot of bottles moving down the line.

This year we bottled:
• 2025 Flower and the Bee Rosé (new wine)
• 2024 Fundamental Mystery (Grenache and Syrah)
• 2024 Dizziness of Freedom (Syrah, Grenache, Graciano)
• 2024 To Be Honest (Cabernet Sauvignon led)
• 2024 Never Ending Sunday (Mourvèdre, back after a year away)

Grateful for everyone who showed up to help bring these wines to life.

Today marks the first day of spring, and it felt like a good excuse to share a few moments from the vineyard.

Starting in the Garnacha block with Buca making his rounds, then over to the steeper, north-facing slope of our Syrah where things are just beginning to come alive. You can see we’re right on the edge of bud break.

At the top of the hill, it’s even more clear, this warm weather over the past week is really starting to accelerate things.

We’ve also got something new coming soon, our rosé, heading into bottle in a few weeks and right at home on a day like today. A small preview of the new label here as well, curious what you think.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our pruning day this Saturday!

With our estate vines producing fruit for the first time this harvest, it felt especially meaningful to gather in the vineyard and share this hands-on moment together before the season begins. We loved walking the rows, talking through the craft of pruning, and celebrating this exciting milestone with you.

Of course Buca and Orzo wanted to get involved too😉

We can’t wait to see what this first estate harvest brings. 🍇🍷

Happy national pistachio day!

When we embarked on the Zobèto journey, we had no intention of selling pistachios. We happened to purchase a property with pistachio trees and through a lot of trial and error, broken pistachio shakers, & bribing friends to help with harvest we became nut farmers.

These trees have become integral to our story and we are so thankful to have accidentally fallen into this crazy world of pistachios. We know we will be cracking open a couple of pistachios in honor of the holiday, we hope you do too🤎

The Last Pick of 2025

That’s a wrap on Harvest 2025! Our first pick was Syrah on September 9, and fittingly, our last pick on October 31 was Syrah too, this time from the coast. Eight picks in all, spread across a harvest that kept us on our toes.

After two quick picks in early September, we waited nearly a month before the next fruit was ready. Then came an October rainstorm that dropped 1.6 inches, just to keep things interesting.

We have seven fermentations finishing their work and hope to have everything pressed and barreled down well before Thanksgiving.
