Meet Matt Locklin, our head of Operations & Winemaking -​

After joining JUSTIN in 2008 as a Wine Production Assistant, Matt now oversees the entire winemaking operations team. Ask him what has the biggest impact on the final bottle, and he'll tell you it's often something simple but very complex: aging wine in the right oak. From flavor development to aging potential, selecting the appropriate oak is a critical part of crafting every JUSTIN wine.​
​
When he's not overseeing winemaking operations, Matt enjoys summer BBQs with burgers and ribs paired with JUSTIN Trilateral.
