A little horse time before turkey time. 🐴🍂

We’re bringing camp back for Thanksgiving week at Paso Robles Pastures!

After all the fun we had at summer camp, we can’t wait to welcome campers for three days of riding, hands-on horse care, games, crafts, and time together outdoors. Returning campers and new friends are welcome.

🤠 Ages 6 and older, all riding levels welcome!
🍂 November 23–25
🐴 9 AM–2 PM each day
📍 Paso Robles Pastures
🧡 $425 per child for all three days
🍁 Limited to 15 campers
💛 A $100 deposit reserves your child’s spot

Bring lunch and a labeled water bottle; we’ll provide snacks and water.

Need a little extra time? Before and aftercare is available for $15 per hour, with drop-off as early as 8 AM and pickup as late as 4 PM.

Meet our newest ranch residents, Chub and Meatball! 🐢💚 They moved in with Tiana, and Meatball has already found her favorite place: right on Chub’s shell. And yes, the tiny one is fully grown! We can’t wait to share more of these two.

Our vet brought the sweetest little helper to Paso Robles Pastures! 🩺💕 While Mom checked on our pigs and small animals, her daughter got busy making new besties. 🐷

Meet Toto, our adorable new three-month-old baby donkey! 🫏🤎

He and his mom, Dorothy, joined our ranch family just a few weeks ago, and Toto is already making himself right at home! He’s been racing through the pasture, showing off his funniest little jumps, playing with the horses, meeting the dogs and saying hello to his new human friends.

This spunky little boy may be tiny, but he’s already overflowing with personality! Welcome to the ranch, Toto! 💕

Our Back-to-School Lesson Package is back, a great way to get riding, build confidence, or keep those riding skills going as we head into fall.

Meet Laura ⭐
If you’ve spent any time at Paso Robles Pastures, there’s a good chance you already know—and love—Laura.

She started riding at 13 and hasn’t stopped since. She grew up in Arcadia near Santa Anita with horses in the backyard, rode hunter/jumpers for years, and was already giving riding lessons to neighborhood kids while she was still in high school. Later she found her way back to Western riding and roping, and she’s continued taking lessons and attending clinics throughout her life because she truly believes there is always more to learn.

And then there’s the other big part of Laura’s life, teaching. ❤️ She’s been a teacher for 36 years and currently teaches fifth grade. She also spent many years with MACH 1 (Move a Child Higher), a therapeutic riding program in Pasadena, combining two things she loves most: horses and helping kids learn and grow.

This past summer, Laura was one of our main summer camp coaches, and now that she’s back in the classroom, we’re so happy she still finds time for riding lessons and trail rides at Paso Robles Pastures and joins our SLO Party Animals crew for birthday parties, weddings and other special events.

She’s a mom to three grown kids, a lifelong horsewoman, a wonderful teacher, and one of those special people both kids and adults just love being around.

We absolutely adore her, our students adore her, and we’re incredibly grateful she’s part of our ranch family. ❤️

Yep… she’s a star. ⭐
