The ASMR of harvest 2026 for your listening pleasure. It also kinda feels like “Groundhog’s Day”. Every day on repeat. It’s a good thing we like this sh*t 😆

We are getting close to wrapping the season, but we we do…we are going to miss these smells. Definitely make plans to visit the vineyard soon, if you haven’t yet already during harvest.

But seriously…it is pretty cool to hear about another symbiotic relationship on the vineyard. And it’s just another great reason for keeping our beehives on the vineyard! The gift that just keeps giving.

Farming our vineyard is a multi-layered endeavor with so many working parts.
If have yet to visit us at this time of year…it’s time to make plans. The vineyard is so beautiful and the incredible smells of harvest only add to the experience.

* Can I bring all of my dogs? No, only one dog per ticketed guest please.

* Does my dog need to be on leash? Yes, all doggie guests must be on leash for the safety of all attendees.

* Are kids welcome to attend? This is definitely something to do with your kids. Let them join in the fun! The kids will also get a kick out of our tortoises and chickens…we love animals 🥰

* Will there be non-alcoholic beverages? Yes! Absolutely.

* Can I walk my dog in the vineyard for a break from all the fun? Of course! We pride ourselves on having an open vineyard for guests to enjoy, even our four legged friends.

* How is this event supporting Alpha Dog Rescue & Paws 4 Cause Rescue? CASS W**ery is donating proceeds from ticket sales and alcohol sales to support these community organizations that help our 4 legged friends.

* Why is a dog event also supporting a kitty rescue? Because Cass loves Paws 4 Cause and how they help us re-home stray cats that find their way onto the vineyard!

It’s a yo-yo! 🪀 Last week the temps dropped again and all the grapes re-plumped, diluting the sugars and literally causing us to pause for a bit. Which means Sterling got a nice break this week while Mother Nature did her thing.

Now with a few days back up in the 90’s and low 100’s, things are gassing up and rearing to go! Sugars are rising again. But we are waiting out the heatwave…more for us humans than the grapes 🥵

Temps are trending down into the 70’s and 80’s next week. Perfect harvest weather!!!

Whiplash!! 💨 Can’t believe that we just finished bottling and some varietals are still in Veraison. At 9pm last night WE BEGAN PICKING!!

Our Viognier is always the first to ripen, but this is the earliest harvest that our w**emaker, Sterling, has ever experienced.

A couple of years ago we had our latest harvest we ever experienced. It’s been a wild couple of years and obviously that roller coaster is still rolling 🎢

So thankful to be picking at night, protected from the sun’s heat. Just look at that smile on Misael’s (our Vineyard Manager) face! Swipe to the end. Love this guy!!

Bottling day! Love seeing the next vintage of our Reserve Cabernet go into bottle. While the majority of our w**es are closed with Stelvin (aka screw caps)…we have stayed traditional with corks for this beautiful bottle. A heavier glass and cork just leans into the aesthetic of this w**e. It’s kind of like when you have a very intentional gift to give someone and you just want the wrapping to tell the receiver exactly how special it is at first glance. This w**e has our heart and soul in it…so she needs to look the part.

Why don’t we do corks on everything? Honestly? The Stelvin caps literally transformed the consistency of our w**es as they age. Pretty much eliminating the risk of a w**e becoming corked as it ages.

But old school for the Reserve just feels right. This is one to lay down ♥️

This is our “watercolor season.” 🎨🧑‍🎨
Arguably, it might be the prettiest time on the vineyard. As those Cabernet grapes start to ripen and develop sugars, the vines literally look like a Monet painting.

If you have some time, you should come out and see the magic. There is a reservation link in BIO Cass W**ery , but as always…feel free to just swing by any day 11am-5pm.

Meanwhile, our Viognier is inching closer and closer to harvest. Things are happening fast around here thanks to the perfect weather 🌞
