We are deeply honored and grateful to be named 2026 Winery of the Year at the Central Coast Wine & Spirits Competition.

This recognition is a reflection of the hard work, passion, and dedication of our entire team, as well as the support of our loyal customers, wine club members, growers, and friends who have believed in our journey.

We are especially proud that our 2023 El Nico was awarded Best Red – Best of Class with 97 Points, along with earning numerous Gold Medals across our portfolio.

We accept this award with humility and gratitude, knowing that great wine is the result of many hands, years of dedication, and a commitment to excellence.

The 2023 El Nico is a bold yet beautifully balanced blend of Garnacha, Graciano, Mataro, and Tempranillo sourced from the rugged limestone-rich hills of the Adelaida District in Paso Robles. Inspired by the great wines of Spain yet unmistakably Paso Robles in character, El Nico captures both power and elegance.

Deep ruby in color, the wine opens with expressive aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry, dried fig, and plum layered with notes of cracked pepper, sage, to***co, leather, and subtle vanilla from extended aging in Spanish and American oak. On the palate, Garnacha brings vibrant red fruit and lift, Graciano adds spice and freshness, Mataro contributes structure and earthy depth, while Tempranillo delivers richness and a long, velvety finish.

Last minute decisions Mom loves dessert wine! at Diablo Paso we have three different types of dessert wines. Our 2025 Albariño is low alcohol at only 7% with great acidity and some bubbles. 2024 Mi Dulce Corazon is only 9% Alcohol with layers of tropical fruits and great acidity in the finish, Our NV Puro made of 100% Graciano great layers of raspberry, dark chocolate and almonds.
