The Garagiste Festival crew is heading home to Paso Robles November 6–8, 2026 for our 16th Annual Festival!

What started right here in Paso has grown over the years, but there’s nothing quite like coming back to where it all began — celebrating the small-production artisan w**emakers, hard-to-find w**es, and people who make this w**e community so special.

✨ And this year, there’s something new! Friday night’s Rare & Reserve experience is heading to a brand-new destination — The AVA Hotel in downtown Paso Robles — for an intimate evening featuring some of our Garagistes’ most special and limited w**es.

Then on Saturday, it’s time for the Grand Tasting, bringing together dozens of artisan w**eries and hundreds of w**es to discover.

The “conspiracy” began in 2005, with one mission: to produce exceptional, handcrafted w**es in extremely limited quantities. And when they say limited, they mean it — some Cloak & Dagger w**es have been produced in quantities of just 25–90 cases.

Based in Paso Robles, Cloak & Dagger brings a little mystery, a lot of personality, and exactly the kind of small-production w**emaking we love at Garagiste.

We’re excited to have Ciento Cellars joining us again at the 16th Annual Garagiste Festival: Paso Robles!

The name CIENTO combines cielo (heaven) and viento (wind) — “Heaven Wind” — a fitting name for this family-run w**ery perched high above the westside of Paso Robles.

Owners Dave and Antonia Carpenter planted their estate vineyard in 2019, farming 14+ acres of Rhône and Bordeaux varietals including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Their vineyard sits at 1,200–1,400 feet, rooted in the calcareous limestone soils that make this part of Paso so special.

Small, hands-on and driven by family, creativity and a genuine love of w**e — Ciento is exactly what the Garagiste spirit is all about.

Founded by Michael & Margene Mooney, Chateau Margene has been crafting w**e in Paso Robles since 1997, guided by a simple philosophy: quality over quantity.

Today, this family-run w**ery organically and sustainably farms its estate vineyards in the Creston District, focusing on small-lot Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Bordeaux-style w**es that showcase the character of Paso Robles.

With annual production remaining intentionally small, Chateau Margene is exactly the kind of producer Garagiste is all about — passionate people making exceptional w**es in limited quantities.

Pronounced “karn,” Cairjn is rooted in Paso Robles and w**emaker Andy Neja’s deep respect for farming. Their philosophy says it best: “W**emaking happens in the vineyard, everything else is secondary.”

With decades of experience in everything from farming to hands-on w**e production, Andy crafts w**es that celebrate exceptional fruit, local growers, and the unique character of Paso Robles.

Paso Robles is California's largest geographic w**e region, covering 35 miles from east to west and 25 miles from north to south, with approximately 35,000 acres planted to grapes. The broader Paso Robles AVA was created in 1983 and in 2014 was divided into 11 subregions.

What began as a family w**emaking tradition in 1994 has grown into Boutz Cellars, a 52-acre Paso Robles estate rooted in family, farming and Greek heritage.

Father and son James and Manoli Boutzoukas now farm 12 varietals across two ranches and have helped bring something truly unique to Paso Robles — the first Greek grape varietals established on California’s Central Coast.

Their vineyards include Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Vidiano, Xinomavro and more, all farmed by hand with a commitment to sustainability and quality over quantity.

From Michoacán, Mexico to the vineyards of Paso Robles, the story behind Bodega de Edgar is one of perseverance, family, and taking a chance on a dream.

W**emaker Edgar Torres came to California with his family as a young boy. Years later, faced with the choice between a traditional path and pursuing his passion for w**e, Edgar took a leap of faith. With enough savings to purchase just four oak barrels, Bodega de Edgar was born.

Drawing inspiration from his heritage, Edgar built his w**ery around Spanish varietals, including Tempranillo, and a minimal-intervention approach that allows the fruit and Paso Robles terroir to speak for themselves.

Those first four barrels have since grown into a thriving family w**ery — but the values behind them remain the same: hard work, family, community, and a genuine love for making w**e.

This is exactly why we love bringing small producers together at Garagiste. There’s a story behind every bottle, and we can’t wait for you to meet Edgar and experience his w**es for yourself.
