For Tannat lovers only — deep, decadent, unforgettable.

2023 Tannat | 100% Tannat | Glennrose, Vent d’été & Barr Estate | Paso Robles

Bold yet elegant, this Tannat is a masterclass in intensity and poise. Fermented lot by lot and basket pressed, then aged 22 months in French oak (40% new), it develops a lush, layered texture that’s both commanding and graceful. Black cherry and plum dominate, with currant and licorice emerging slowly, while a whisper of smoky oak lingers on the finish.

We like to pair it with; Can’t Lose My Soul by Annie & The Caldwells and a page out of our favorite cookbook.

One of our favorite vineyards is right in our backyard — Vent d’été Vineyards, nestled in the Templeton Gap. Whether it’s calling the crew for an early morning pick or bringing the family along, this is where some of our most stunning Tannat and Syrah come from.

Early mornings here, with a double shot of espresso in hand and frosty air filling your lungs, are our absolute favorite time of year. We’re grateful to work with small, family-owned vineyards, and each season is a reminder of why we keep coming back.

2023 Holocene | Roussanne | Bien Nacido Vineyard | Santa Maria Valley

Like a Bon Iver song — layered, contemplative, and quietly powerful. Partial malolactic adds a velvet softness without losing its edge.

It’s a wine that doesn’t shout. Straw-colored, full-bodied, and deeply textural — unfolding slow, like the last note of a song that hangs in the air just a moment longer than expected.
