Arrow Maker Ranch Standing Morgan Dun N Stone, aka Zeus, 2008 AQHA stallion. We are crossing old ranch/roping lines with modern arena performance pedigrees.

Stud service available and foals for sale each year. The name for Arrow Maker Ranch is derived from our family name, Fletcher. The art of fletching arrows has been around for centuries and our Scottish ancestors were skilled in this art. We are a very small family breeding ranch(ette) in beautiful wine country Paso Robles, CA. We proudly stand Morgan Dun N Stone, aka Zeus, a 2008 AQHA perlino cham

pagne dun roan stallion with the best disposition we've ever come across. We currently have 3 mares and will occasionally offer foals for sale on this page. Our mares are all "own daughters" of performance arena money earners and ride to some degree. They have pedigrees proven in cutting, reining and reined cow horse and have been chosen to compliment Zeus in both conformation and temperament. All of our mares are sweethearts, but a bit hotter under saddle, which we think will cross very well with him. You can view them in their own albums on this page and look at previous foals with Zeus. Zeus and all of our mares are N/N (negative) for AQHA's 5 disease panel. The diseases tested for on this panel are HERDA, HYPP, GBED, PSSM1 & MH. We understand that many of the "greats" did just fine with these diseases; however, we feel that it is our responsibility to produce the best possible horses we that we can and that includes disease and carrier free offspring. Due to some sellers and breeders being dishonest about disease results, all of our horses' test results are available in the Documents folder under Pictures and, if you feel the need, you can call the labs where testing took place. The results are clear to be released to any who call and ask. Additionally, any foals from our program are sold with a copy of test results for Zeus and the dam. If you have any questions or concerns at all, don't hesitate to PM or email. While color is a consideration in our program, it is not the top criteria. Producing a healthy, sound, versatile cow horse with a great disposition is our main goal. And while we know Zeus's color is very unique, we are not trying to duplicate it. Zeus does stand to the public, though we are not in a hurry to get a ton of babies on the ground, we did want to see what kind of mares cross best with him. As of 2015, Zeus has 6 foals on the ground out of 3 foal crops. Please go through the albums to see pictures of Zeus, his offspring and his pedigree. Ok, who wants a deal? Glory, aka 2011 APHA (BS) Gunna Run Like Hail, is not her happiest when she's bored and alone. She's UTD on farrier, dewormer, shots, etc. She recently had a round of Sand Clear too. Broodmare sound only but easy for everything and would ready to go under lights asap.

2011 APHA (BS) Gunna Run Like Hail "Glory" is the last one looking for a new home from my breeding program. She is superbly bred, shown reiner mare, now broodmare sound only. She is N/N for the 7 panel and tested ee Aa. She is UTD on trims, shots, and dewormer. She stands great for the farrier and is easy to catch and handle. She had 2 foals for us, both from live cover, however she would be a great candidate for AI or ET as well. Only vice is that she chews wood (no cribbing) and may pace if separated. Otherwise, she is a very uncomplicated mare, easy to care for and maintain. Middle to upper in the pecking order. Working on getting new pictures asap. PM for info so I don't get in trouble with FB rules.

Zeus has been getting settled in at our new place. He was ready for breakfast this morning and things are finally feeling peaceful again.
Though Arrow Maker Ranch will be dissolved at the end of 2022, I am happy and lucky to announce that I will be able to stand Morgan Dun N Stone 2008 Perlino Champagne Dun Roan Stallion for breeding next Spring.
I'm also aiming to get back in the saddle as soon as we get ourselves settled too.
