At the sorting table, every cluster gets checked. If we see something that doesn’t belong in the wine, it doesn’t make it past us.

It’s meticulous, a little messy, and definitely not glamorous, but it is part of keeping the quality where we want it. We’d rather be picky now than regret it later. 🍷

Look up tonight for August’s full Sturgeon Moon, along with a deep partial lunar eclipse, peaking at 9:12 p.m. PT. 🌕🌘

The Sturgeon Moon gets its name from a time when lake sturgeon were especially plentiful in the Great Lakes, providing an important late-summer food source for Native communities in the region. 🐟

Here in Paso Robles, this time of year brings its own harvest, as months of growing in the vineyard finally make their way off the vine and into the cellar. 🍇

With harvest underway, a full moon over wine country feels like a pretty good way to mark the season. 🍷

SAVE THE DATE for the last Second Saturday of the summer at Midnight Cellars! 🎶🍷

Join us on September 12 for one more day of live music, food, wine, and frosé. We’ll have music rolling from noon into the evening, with Emily Smith (Emily Smith) from 12-3pm and Ghost Monster (ghost\monsterr) taking over from 4-7pm.

Tickets are $15 at the door. Seating is limited, so if you’d like to reserve a table, give us a call at (805) 239-8904.

Call it the calm before harvest. 🍇

The bins are waiting, the tanks are ready, and before we know it, the 2026 vintage will be filling up both.

For now, we’re keeping a close eye on the vineyard and making sure everything is ready for the first pick. Once the fruit starts coming in, it’s full speed ahead! 🍷

The Perseids peak tonight, bringing bright, fast-moving meteors and long streaks of light across the sky. They’re often considered one of the best meteor showers of the year.

They’ll remain active through August 24, so even if you miss them tonight, keep looking up over the next couple of weeks. If you happen to catch one, make a wish and open something good to enjoy while you’re at it. 💫🍷

Seven hours of live music, smashburgers, and Midnight Cellars wine are coming your way this Saturday. 🎸

Our Second Saturday Music Series runs from noon to 7 pm, giving you plenty of time to grab a burger, enjoy the music, and spend the day with us.
