Thanks to our amazing team and crew, every cluster off of Alta Colina Vineyard is hand-harvested and then handed off to W**emaker Dallas and the cellar team to turn those grapes into the w**es you love.

Vintage 2026 has brought our earliest harvest ever! Anyone in California in February/March this year? It was HOT.

‘Alta Colina’ literally means ‘high hill’ in Spanish. Opted to keep naming of our family w**ery simple! Regenerative organically farmed w**es from our front yard. Dreamy.

Big w**e tasting question: are w**eries cheap or generous when it comes to pouring w**e?

The same 1.5 ounce pour can look like plenty in one glass or like we’re cheating you out of w**e you paid for in another. At Alta Colina we want you to be able to taste the w**e in your glass and come back for another sip or two. We also don’t want anyone getting drunk at 1pm so dump buckets are available and their use encouraged cuz day drunk is just not the move!

This is something we weirdly think about a lot. You’ve probably had the experience out in the world of a taste or a glass looking super generous or totally stingy. Both happen. But more often than not we’re pouring the right amount and the glass is tricking you. The exact same amount of w**e can look like a dribble in one glass and a gigantic pour in another.

Our approach at Alta Colina is 1.5 to 2 ounce pours, which is the upper end of what’s appropriate for a tasting. If you want to get your money’s worth, ask for Bob! Despite years of training he still has a heavy hand. A glass at a restaurant runs bigger, more like 4 to 6 ounces.

So if a pour ever looks off to you, just ask and we’ll tell you exactly what we’re aiming for. Just know the glass might be playing tricks on your eyes either way.

We’ve been offering in-home tastings for years and we’re not the only ones. Check out the W**e Enthusiast piece (link in bio) on the trend, plus see a cameo from one of our members in Phoenix.

W**e Enthusiast calls in-home tastings one of the fastest-growing ways people are drinking w**e right now, and we’re into it. You gather your favorite w**e-loving crew (about 20 is a sweet spot), we bring the flight and the stories behind each bottle, you provide the space, company, and stems, we pour and take orders, and a grand old time is had by all.
Tupperw**e Parties have taken us to Phoenix, Chicago, Portland, and all over California. Let’s keep the bus rolling…
