God gives us so many gifts and today was one of my favorites…it was my grandmothers too…it was raining while the sun was shining.

Big heavy drops fell glistening like sparkling diamonds out of the sky, the wind blew fresh out of the east, crowned by a huge charcoal colored thunderhead laying low to the base of the Huachucas…and I said thank you for all of my blessings.

Jiggs and I headed west to the house and startled a band of antelope grazing on the north end of Airplane Pasture…another smile, another thank you….we paused to watch them….notice the little stuff cuz it is actually the big stuff that fill our lives with beauty…. getting wet, lightening popping….headed for home now in earnest…
