Premier Honeycrisp sale! $35/half bushel

We have LOTS of Premier Honeycrisp that we need to get through! You can now buy a half bushel of #1 Premier Honeycrisp for just $35! (about 20lbs, regularly $60 per half bu.)

Right now the premiers are sweet and perfect for apple sauce. Once we get through all of these, we will be able to pack out the 'regular' honeycrisp.

Other apples in the market include Lucky 13, KinderKrisp, AutumnCrisp and Gala.

The market is open daily 10-5pm!

We are sold out of U-Pick Honeycrisp. Saturday and Sunday (8/29 & 8/30) we will offer Autumncrisp, Lucky 13, and Gala at 9199 Morse rd. This block has rows of Honeycrisp that are reserved for school tours. They will be roped off. Please do not try to pick these Honeycrisp.

The Snack Shack and Sweet Shop will be open daily during market hours through the end of October! NEW this year from Buckeye Concessions... Italian Gelato! They'll be offering gelato on the market porch during the weekends, and on weekdays you can find it in the Sweet Shop.

And of course INSIDE the market we have Steven’s bakery pies, fry pies, Sweet Goodness Bakery cakes, pumpkin bars, sugar cookies and more!

Upick update for August 28-30th

Honeycrisp, AutumnCrisp and Lucky 13 are all at 9199 Morse Rd (east of the market) for the remainder of the weekend! The supply is looking good for all 3 varieties and we think they will last all weekend (unless we get a huge crowd Saturday).

Beginning Thursday we’re picking Honeycrisp, AutumnCrisp and Lucky 13! We are picking at 2 different locations in the orchard:

Honeycrisp
📍Location: 9851 Morse Rd.(west of the market, maze entrance)

AutumnCrisp & Lucky 13
📍Location: 9199 Morse Rd.(east of the market)

Hours: Thursday-Sunday 10-5pm

Cost: $25 a peck (approx. 10lbs), $40 a half bushel (approx. 20lbs)

Reminder - there is a $15 vehicle entrance charge if no apples are purchased

ALL apples are while they last! There is a chance with the popularity of honeycrisp that it will sell out before the end of the weekend. Likewise, the crop size of Lucky 13 is small and may also run out. AutumnCrisp is expected to last all weekend.

FRIDAYS are our favorite! We have a full bakery lineup - and we can tell fall is just around the corner!

Steven’s Bakery Pies, Sugar cookie cut-outs, energy balls, Pumpkin Bars, Sweet Goodness bakery cakes (German chocolate & carrot cake), and Sharon’s cookies (like this peanut butter buckeye one 🤤) all arrive first thing Friday morning!

And of course we always have REGEN-Bake Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls, Cinnamon Toast, No-bake cookies, Whoopie Pies, Banana Bread, Fry Pies & LYND fudge in the bakery.

In the produce section we have beautiful colored beets, various kinds of green beans, large cauliflower, cabbage, bells peppers, LOTS of specialty peppers, pickling cucumbers and tomatoes.

In the pavilion we have melons (cantaloupe, seeded watermelon, seedless watermelon and ORANGE watermelon), winter squash, a few Italian plums and the last of the homegrown peaches.

🍎APPLES on the market now include KinderKrisp, Gala, Sweet MAIA and Premier Honeycrisp.

Gala is a popular sweet apple that is great for just about anything. Sweet MAIA is a firm, red apple that is all sweet with no tartness - named after the Midwest Apple Improvement Association (MAIA) which was co-founded by Mitch Lynd.
