I am interested in finding a new working herd for *B Caprice Acres Wahoo Jubilant (87 VVV 03-07). If you are looking to add some vigor, production, and POLLED genetics to your FRENCH Alpine herd, look no further. Julian is A/B casein, making him an interesting option for commercial dairies. His sire was born in 1985 and has numerous 5000+ lb lactations in his pedigree. Check out the longevity on his dam, Elise, who scored 90 EVEE 10-04. He has only had 3 daughters appraised and all were FF so don’t be turned off by his avg daughter score. He has consistently improved rear leg angulation, width between the hocks, feet and legs, and PRODUCTION in my herd. Older genetics can bring reservations about udders - I will post udder pics of daughters in comments. His dau udders are all well attached, balanced, and they milk. Julian is an easy keeper and easy to handle, even in rut.

I am asking eight zero zero for Julian, but a significant discount is available for herds actively participating in performance programs. Semen is also available 5/$200.

**thank you for all the inquiries - the position is filled!**

I am looking to hire for two positions on the farm. One is more manual labor… I like to hire this position as a very self managed role. It involves a commitment of about 10 hours a month of hard labor, but you can do it whenever you like and I pay $200. The other position is weekly and requires more attention to detail… It is a list of more menial tasks that I just don’t have time to get to on a regular basis. This second position would be very suitable for a younger person with the ability to follow directions and work independently. Things like filling all mineral feeders, scrubbing,and refilling water buckets, adding fresh straw to pens, raking the barn, etc. The pay for this position is more negotiable.
