Join us on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 for the next installment in our Wilderness Survival Workshop Series: EdgeCraft and Toolmaking.

You'll learn the basics of using a knife to make all of the other things that will make surviving easier.

We'll be at the Sands Point Preserve at 10am, and Vanderbilt Museum at 2pm.

Just a small taste of what we have upcoming!

This Saturday, June 13th, join us at Sands Point Preserve Conservancy or Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium for the next workshop in the Wilderness Survival Series: EdgeCraft and Toolmaking

Later that same day, we'll be going on a foraging hike, searching for food, medicine, and resources, as we continue the Wilderness Survival Series at CEED

A new addition to the line-up and a new partner: we'll be heading to the Hampton Bays Public Library for a Scrimshaw workshop.

Busy little bee reopening the nest after I accidentally stepped on it while doing some yard work. Welcome back, little friend!

It's sling weather! Time to weave some fibers, gather some rocks, and send them downrange.

Side note, I love using video to assess my technique. This is feom a previoua session, amd I made about a dozen corrections based on what the footage revealed. The camera neither lies nor sugarcoats lol
