Symmes Creek Ranch Rustic Angus Cattle Ranch in Southeast Ohio. Producer of Premium NonGMO Beef Our ranch is bordered by Wayne National Forest and 76-mile Symmes Creek.

The old barn was built in the 1840's, evidenced by the hand hewn beams. This farm was in the Whitaker family for many generations. Whittaker Wetlands lies just across Symmes Creek and is a sanctuary for many species of birds and ducks. Riding your horse to the highest point on the ranch you can see 360 degrees all around Gallia County, including the Mark Carter Ranch to the south and West Virginia

to the east. Our cattle graze on this farm where they are outside 365 days a year. They calve in the open pasture and drink from the many springs on the farm. Our beef is certified by the Non GMO Project and conforms to Project standards for minimal GMO contaminants in our feed. Cattle in this program never receive antibiotics or hormones of any kind and their diet consists only of native grasses and Non GMO grain, peas and lentils.

Through a really tough decision, we have decided to step back from marketing by the piece directly in the Athens area for the time being. We are still, however, offering our premium beef as custom cut sides! Please check in with us through the website, as the Facebook account is no longer being managed regularly.

Just want to send a shout out to our amazing loyal customers! You guys drive our business, and we love being able to bring you great beef that everyone can feel really good about.

We also want to let you know that we are NOT attending the Athens Farmers Market through the month of April. That will give us time to catch up on inventory, make repairs, etc and be better prepared to serve you well in the future. We ARE however, still offering custom cut halves, and are continuing to work through our current market inventory of ground beef! Our patties and other cuts are gone, but we are still offering our 1lb packages at BOGO1/2OFF, and will be happy to stock your freezer until those are gone as well (and they are going fast). Grab a whole case or two and capitalize on this great price while you can!

Hello everyone! I am so glad to be back in Ohio and enjoy the spring blossoms! I will NOT be at the Athens Farmers Market for this last indoor market this weekend, but I WILL make a special delivery to Athens Saturday morning (or another prearranged time if needed) to stock you up! We are still offering our BOGO1/2 deal on ground beef and patties (buy one, get one half off), and I still have a few briskets, skirts, flat irons, and tomahawk ribeyes... Just an update, our family matters have taken longer than anticipated and we will NOT be at the Athens Farmers Market for the remainder of the winter/indoor market. We ARE, however, still offering our ground beef special of BOGO50% on both patties and 1lb packs, and we have plenty of briskets, so start planning now for St Patrick's Day! We may also be able to arrange for special orders, so please contact us for availability. You can also continue to find us on the shelves at Kindred Market in Athens. We look forward to being back near April, and hope to see many of you before then to fill your freezers!

Good morning! I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, but we had a family emergency come up and we will NOT be at the Athens Farmers Market today.
