Back Wood BBQ Back Wood BBQ formed in July 2024 by Lloyd and Margaret Phillips. The BBQ trailer lives at 76 Mountain Road in Mount Chase, ME, on the ATV trail but is mobile.

We will be doing pop up dining events. Keep an eye out for our ads and changing menus.

We thought we would be at Katahdin Brew Works today, Friday (8/7), however, it will only be tomorrow, Saturday, 8/8.

Saturday, 8/8 (at KBW):
We will have some interesting items to serve while you enjoy KBW brews and Adam Curtis’ music.

We will also have the usual things like pulled pork, smash burgers, and hot dogs.

Sunday, 8/9:
We are back at 76 Mountain Road, Mount Chase, for the Dustin Harris Poker Run.

We will be open to the public from 10am - 4pm.

Island Falls Summerfest….

Back Wood BBQ will be cooking next to Jerry’s (in Island Falls) on Friday (7/31), Saturday (8/1), and Sunday (8/2).

Friday and Saturday hours will be 11am - 6pm.

Sunday hours will be 11am - 3pm.

We will have ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage, smash burgers, hot dogs, French fries, cole slaw, and whatever other inspiration may hit before then.🤗

If you know you want a large quantity of ribs (1+ racks of ribs) any of these days, please let us know in advance if possible so we can accommodate. 207-538-8146

Note:
We will be in Patten at Katahdin Brew Works Friday (8/7) and Saturday (8/8) of Patten Pioneer Days. Come see us for upscale barbecue and pub food!!

We will be back at 76 Mountain Road in Mount Chase on Sunday (8/9) for the Dustin Harris Poker Run as a card stop and we are open to the public, as well.

Surprise!

We will be open in Mount Chase (76 Mountain Road) today, July 4th from 10am through at least 6pm. (I know. We are as surprised as you!!😂)

We were planning to take the weekend off, but got asked for a bunch of ribs for today. If we are hanging out smoking, we may as well have hungry people stop for a bite!🤗

We will have a limited menu: Burgers, hot dogs, smoked sausage (limited amount), and only 1 rack of ribs that are not spoken for, French fries, and a very small amount of pulled pork (like 2 sandwiches). Cole slaw. Might be a jalepino popper or two. Who knows what other experiments we will come up with?!!!

Come see us by wheeler or vehicle! Happy Fourth of July! 🧨 🇺🇸 Happy 250th America!!!

11am - 6pm
Same as above, but ribs ready by 11am.

Not great weather, but if you are out or need a destination, we hope to see you! 😊

Weather has driven us home from Katahdin Brew Works today. Ribs were done just as the rain started.🥺

If anyone wants to drop by 10 Pleasant Street in Island Falls, we have ribs and pulled pork we can sell you. Call 207-538-8146 to be sure we have what you want before you make the trip. Thank you!😊
