I discovered this message on Friday, while chorin’; it was left by a recent yurt guest/graffiti artist. It warmed my heart and made me smile, knowing that we touched another soul! It was also a sign of things to come over the weekend…

On Saturday morning, we were contacted by a good samaritan family who, while on-duty, discovered a lamb (alone) in a busy metro area. This gracious family spent approximately $600 with a vet, to get the lamb the care needed. They reached out to us to see if we would take her in and give her a good home. “Daisy Jade” became the newest member of our farm that day, thanks to this caring family and Mariaville Goat Farm’s sanctuary program! On Sunday, the family contacted us again, as they had found another lamb (under the same conditions), and asked if we would give her a home as well. “Mudflap” had found her new home also!

Many thanks to this compassionate family for getting them the care - and the home - these critters needed!

We are happy to share that both “Daisy Jade” and “Mudflap” are healthy, happy, and settling in well!
