The rancher does this to encourage people to buy whole cows instead of individual cuts.

According to him, buying an entire cow turns out to be much more economical & with it you can feed your family for a whole year.

Our family is proud to introduce our new shift in our page and share the story behind our Hereford beef business.

For nearly 50 years, we have been raising Hereford cattle right here in Stone Station, and 2026 marks the 50th year of caring for cattle the right way — with patience, integrity, and respect for the land and the animals.

Our cows are locally raised, grass-fed, and have access to an all-natural feed sourced from Newberry. The health and well-being of our herd is always a top priority. Our mother cows receive annual vaccinations for respiratory and black leg protection, our bulls are banded at birth, and no growth-enhancing steroids are ever used — ever.

We take pride in offering all-natural Hereford beef, sold by the half or whole cow, raised on a family-owned farm where quality comes first. Our breeding bulls come from respected seed stock producers within the industry, ensuring strong genetics and consistent carcass quality.

This is more than just beef — it’s a tradition, a livelihood, and a difference you can truly taste.

2 weeks with no eggs… I think we figured out the culprit! He was safely relocated. Rat snakes are egg thieves, but they serve a great purpose on our farm! They keep the mice population down and kill copperheads. King snakes are friends!
