📣We’ve gotten a lot questions regarding the whole hog purchases. Here’s the breakdown of how the process works:

We send whole hogs at 300-350 pounds live weight. They will reach this weight 6-8 months from now. We charge on the hanging weight which will be 100 pounds less than the live weight (~200-250 pounds). We deliver to the processor for you - we like to use a USDA facility and everything will be vacuumed sealed.

$2.50 x hanging weight is due the day of processing. All that we require until then is a $100 deposit which would be deducted from the final payment.

With the processor and the pig you would be paying a total of $4.00 a pound. That’s every cut you can think of for $4.00 a pound!!!

$2.50 a lb plus processing

We farrow to finish our pigs. Meaning they are born, raised and sent to the processor all by us. The feed their on is all grown and milled here in Spartanburg county. It doesn’t get anymore local than that. No added hormones nor no antibiotics.

We would love to have your business and support. We are a full time farm this isn’t a side gig for us. So if you have thought about wanting to know more about your food and where it comes from or have dreamed of seeing small independent farms come back contact us today. Dreams are nice but farms are ran on business and support.
