Lettuce lovers here ya go!! This Saturday at the Lawton Farmers market and at the Paw Paw Farmers Market on Sunday we will have Red leaf and Romain lettuce. At each market we will have about a dozen of each type so come early or contact Sandie Mcnees to reserve yours. You can find good, clean, safe food at local farmers market. Shop local.

Also, if you go to the Lawton or Paw Paw Farmers Markets to buy from us and you have any plastic shopping bags, please don't throw them away, please bring to us. We like to reuse them rather than buying new. Thanks

What's another way you can tell if the person you're buying produce from is an actual farmer? Most of the time the person you're buying from will look exhausted if they're the farmer. What it takes to pick, sort, clean and get the produce to market takes a lot out of you. To say the least for the getting up way too early to load truck, drive to market, unload truck and set up table. So tomorrow if you come to the Paw Paw Farmers Market come say hi to this very tired farmer and help us sell out so I can go home and take a nap.

Saturday Kim will be at the Lawton Farmers market with lots of veggies. Our heirloom,vine ripened tomatoes are finally ready so he will have those along with beets, carrots, larger red and yellow onions, lots of potatoes and so much more. Hope you'll come and support the farm.

Tomorrow is kids day at the Paw Paw Farmers Market. Games, prizes, kids crafts plus a whole lot of vendors old and new. Speaking of old. Most of you know I'm snarky, old, and cranky on my best days. I've made a promise to the markets powers that be, I will not terrorize any of the littles crossing my path. Let's see how that goes, lol....
