Dear Friends of Cottrell Brewing Co.

In 1855, my great great grandfather began his enterprise at 100 Mechanic St. in Pawcatuck. CB Cottrell & Sons grew to become one of the largest printing press manufacturers in the USA.

In 1996, we began our enterprise, Cottrell Brewing Company, in a small part of the very same factory. After 25 years of production at the place we have known as our home away from home, it appears that it is destined for yet another purpose. We have recently been notified by the current owners of the building that it is their desire to have us make way for another tenant by the end of the year.

We have very much enjoyed our quarter century here and we have a lot to be thankful for, especially all of your patronage and support during that time. We are presently examining all of our options to somehow continue on this wonderful
journey into the future, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, we are still open, so please stop down any time over the next month to join me, Pat, Kerry, Shelley and Jeff in a toast of goodbye to our beloved home. đŸ»
