This years Peoples Choice award is dedicated to our precious and very missed uncle Louis Gray he unexpectedly passed a few short months ago 😇. He never missed the NITC ( No matter what) if we were competing. I was always comforted when I would see him and aunt Michelle walking up through all of the people 🫶🏾.

🌮✨ NITC Q&A! ✨🌮

❓ When is the event?
📅 Saturday, October 4th, 2025 | ⏰ 10 AM – 4 PM

❓ Where is it?
📍 Historic Downtown Pawhuska, on Kihekah Ave in front of the Frontier Hotel

❓ How much does it cost to get in?
🎟️ Admission is FREE! Just bring cash or card for tacos, drinks, and shopping.

❓ What should I bring?
🪑 BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) if you’d like a comfy spot. We will have tables and chairs, but limited seating is available!

❓ Do vendors take cards?
💵 Some do, some don’t. ATMs are nearby at Blue Sky Bank, American Heritage Bank, and Elevate Bank.

❓ Where can I park?
🚗 Street parking + 3 major parking lots within a few blocks of the event.

❓ Is there more to do than tacos?
🛍️ Be sure to shop all the vendors and stores in Pawhuska: downtown, along 6th St, and Highway 99 South.

❓ What if I want to enjoy the event but eat elsewhere?
🍴 No problem! Downtown Pawhuska has plenty of restaurants within walking distance—The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, P-Town Pizza, Trigger’s BBQ, Buffalo Joe’s, and more.

❓ Can I bring my pets?
🐾 Yes! Pets are welcome but must be leashed and supervised.

❓ Where can I sign up to judge or buy shirts?
🟧 Visit the orange tent during the event!

❓Where can we stay in Pawhuska?

🌮✨ Want to be a judge at the 2025 National Indian Taco Championship? ✨🌮

We’ve got TWO fun ways for you to join in the competition:

✅ Preliminary Judging – $10 to sample tacos in the first or second round.
✅ People’s Choice Judging – $5 to try as many tacos as you’d like and vote for your favorite!

Sign-ups open at 10:00 a.m. on event day at the T-Shirt Booth (look for the orange booth!) 🎟️👕

And don’t forget — last year, the Jones Girlz made history by winning both 1st Place AND the People’s Choice Award! Who will take the crown this year? 🏆🌮
