Palmetto Cheddar Ranch Chicken Sliders
Makes 24 sliders
11-ounce Palmetto Cheese, any variety
3 cups shredded white meat chicken
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 (1 oz.) package ranch seasoning
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
3 green onions, chopped
1 (24-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
DIRECTIONS:
Butter or spray a sheet pan and preheat oven to 350F. Do not split the rolls into individual rolls. Using a large serrated knife cut the entire package in half, splitting all the rolls into tops and bottoms.
In a large bowl stir together Palmetto Cheese, chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, bacon, and green onions.
Place the bottom half of the rolls onto prepared sheet pan.
Spread chicken mixture evenly across the rolls. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Top with top half of the rolls.
In a small bowl stir together butter, Parmesan, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Cover the sheet pan in foil. Place pan of sandwiches into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melty. Using a serrated knife cut into individual sandwiches and if desired add skewers or toothpicks to serve.
