Our hearts are with Sherry Echo-Hawk as she walks her four-day journey to the stars. Sherry Taluc
Sherry loved Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. She showed that love by supporting the build of the first earth lodge on Pawnee Nation, and made a foundation for all of us. Her heart became the ground we stand on together.
That lodge belongs to our community because Sherry believed in us and the community. Without her, we wouldn't have this gathering place. Without her love for the Tribe, this foundation wouldn't exist.
Every time our people come together there, we're walking in what Sherry helped build from her love for us.
Prayers to her family and everyone who loved her.
