I learned today about the passing of Nate Taylor on 9/2. For those that didn't know our last names, Nate Taylor would be quickly recognized as the guy with the beard, kilt, and giant personality.

Nate was a tremendously important member of the brewery team. He worked side-by-side with me every day, and made those days better. We shared many moments of celebration, frustration and laughter. His many stories got us through the tedious days, and his work ethic and dedication got us through the hard ones.

His contributions to the brewery are hard to quantify. His personality largely defined the character of our taproom. His talent with recipes brought us Black Goat of the Woods, Kilkee Irish Stout and many of our most enjoyed specials and one-offs.

This barely scratches the surface. Any success we had at Bucket owes a lot to Nate; To his friendship, his wit, his intelligence and his creativity. He made the whole experience better and I am deeply saddened that he is gone.

This is Bucket's last weekend, and we've got lots of fun in store!

Tonight we team up with Dreadphile Cinema for some b-movie fun with "Hard Ticket To Hawaii" and food from Hometown Poké

Saturday we'll be pouring Kilkee Irish Stout to celebrate St. Pat's, with "Roadhouse: The Musical" doing their final Bucket show at 8pm

Sunday we'll be open extra hours for a 14ish hour Star Wars marathon, kicking off with Rogue One, then working in order from Episodes IV-VII!

We'll also have tons of other small batch beer creations going on tap, made by many members of the Bucket staff. There are too many to list, so come in any time and try something new!

The Bucket starts pouring at 11 am and goes strong til 10 pm and for the heck of it, we will be showing the Big Lebowski on the BIG screen at 8 pm. We're throwing rocks tonight!

Bucketeers! We are open during this storm, but we recommend that you park in the main lot at 545 Pawtucket Ave and come in through the mill. Carver is a flooded wind tunnel and our front door is fighting all comers.
