Established in 2016, the founders of NextGen Cattle Co. have used extensive research by universities and experts, to create the foundation of a diverse and sustainable seed stock herd. NextGen specializes in Beefmaster Cattle. ce. NextGen’s selection process in herd sires and damns was based on strong EPD information using the $M and $ T as the measuring tool to quality and direction. Many of NextGen’s female donor cows have been selected from longtime breeders in the Beefmaster breed from several regions, Kentucky, Mississippi, Texas, and Oklahoma to name a few. NextGen’s continued focus and direction to work with the Beefmasters breeders association along with several historic cow herds, is to create the most performance driven set of Bulls the breed has ever seen. NextGen genetics will have power, phenotype and balance to perform in any geography of the United States and abroad. It is NextGen’s belief and passion, that the cow herd of the future and the Next Generation will be based on sustainability, longevity, performance and profitability. Heterosis will continue to be a focus of breeders of all kinds in the years to come. NextGen and our beefmaster genetics are driven to build one breed of animal that excels in all categories of the industry, from the ranch , feedlot and to the consumer using heterosis. NextGen will be using state of the art technology in developing bulls and heifers at our NextGen Cattlo Co heifer ranch and feed facility in Allen Kansas. Using new technology in the Grow Safe system to develop bulls and heifers using RFI ( Residual Feed Intake) to determine efficient genetics. Our selection process of our bulls and heifers will be determined by this criteria. It will create an offering of our genetics that we will know from data, that will perform on all levels to create profitability for the commercial cattleman.
