A little prep work for breakfast during the week with school being back in. Ever wonder what a dozen of scrambled eggs look like. Hopefully this will last the rest of the week but I have my doubts.

These girls are growing nicely and very close in size very happy with them. They will be heading out in October. We have 2 halfs available if anyone is interested it runs around $400 for a half.

1 chicken pen cleaned 2 to go plus the rabbits need a good cleaning too. Ms. Mabel making sure the tractor isn't going to bother her. And a beautiful evening. Oh and the fly tags in their ears are really helping very happy with them.

New "earrings" for the girls today. Hopefully it will help keep the flies out off their faces and the rest of them. They were pretty well behaved when we where working them this evening.

We are sold out of Sweet Italian sausage. We still have a good amount of breakfast (loose and little links), Fresh and hot Italian. We still have a little bit of fresh garlic and onion pepper sausage. 🐖 we will be restocking in October.

Somtimes you just have to sit back and enjoy what you have. Or sit back and watch the cows eat dinner and the chickens scratch the cow pies. Hopefully we got Miss Posey bred today and we are done and will have 2 calves in the spring.

Busy day for these ladies today. A preg check for Posey this morning which she is not pregnant. Then realizing our girl Rose was in heat and hunting someone down to come out to AI her today. We were fortunate we found some one who came out this afternoon. Hopeful it takes and we will have a herford heifer calf this next spring. Now we are going to watch Posey to see when she comes in heat to get her bred. I have to say they were both good cows today.
