Just in case anyone was wondering how Ingot is doing, he is huge, spoiled, and convinced he is a cat. He is doing so well that as soon as we can convince him he is a pig, and get him trained to a hot wire, he will be rejoining his litter to live his best piggy life!

Story time! These five little piggies made an escape from their pen. TWELVE DAYS AGO. Not one single sighting of them in all that time. We just got done with a crazy, 6-day long heat wave here. Like, killing heat, every single day. We had given them up as lost. Yesterday, Tim went on a 7-hour round trip to pick up two pregnant sows. Guess who was waiting at our corner for us this morning?? In perfect health, no less. Apparently, God knows something we don’t, and we need more pigs!

After a little over a week of milking, I think it’s safe to say we are going to have extra! We are NOT certified, so all we can offer is “pet” milk, aka, not gov’t approved for human consumption. Even though it’s all we personally drink, even though all cleanliness and safe handling standards are the same, we can’t tell you it’s safe for you to drink. That said, we are looking for up to 8 people to come pick up a gallon of fresh, whole Jersey milk each week. $8/gallon. Also, cream! $5/quart. Comment below, send us a pm, text, call, send a letter, but let us know if you want some!
