At Green Valley Water, we’re investing in the tools and technology needed to plan for tomorrow—today. Since 2017, under the leadership of District Manager Garrett Goldman, P.E., we’ve built a robust Geographical Information System (GIS) system that maps our entire sewer network down to the smallest pipes.
With 97% of our collection system surveyed using advanced GNSS technology, we now have detailed data that helps us see exactly how each subdivision connects and flows together.
With this powerful data in place, we added AquaTwin Sewer—a modern hydraulic modeling tool that lets us quickly see how new developments will impact our existing infrastructure, giving us faster answers and better decision-making power.
From simulating flow through our 14 lift stations to testing worst-case scenarios and checking hydraulic profiles, AquaTwin Sewer
helps us spot potential issues before they happen—keeping our system reliable and ready for growth. Plus, its seamless integration with ArcGIS Pro means we can see everything visually in real time, all in one place.
Big thanks to our partners at Aquanuity for their top-notch support in getting us up and running and even customizing features for our needs.
With modern tools like these, Green Valley Water is ready to meet growing demand and continue delivering reliable service to our
community—today, tomorrow, and for decades to come.
