Ski Haus at Brooksby Farm The Brooksby Farm Ski Haus is a cross-country ski and snowshoe equipment rental facility managed by the City of Peabody's Recreation Department.

When the snow is on the ground, the Ski Haus at Brooksby Farm will be open on Saturday and Sunday at 10am. Last rental is at 3pm. Ski Haus closes at 4pm. We have cross-country skis and snowshoes available for all ages on a first com first serve basis. Popular sizes run out quick. Remember the early bird catches the worm, if you catch our drift ;-)

Important Update: The Trails at Brooksby Farm are Still Open for Winter Fun in 2025!

We're thrilled to remind you that the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails at Brooksby Farm are open for public use! You can enjoy the serene beauty of the farm, whether you're skiing, snowshoeing, or simply taking in the winter landscape. However, the Cross-Country Ski Haus at Brooksby Farm is now permanently closed and will not be opening this season. Please bring your own equipment as rentals are no longer available.

The trails at Brooksby Farm are open daily from dawn to dusk, giving you plenty of time to get outside and embrace nature. Please note that the trails are ungroomed and are use at your own risk, so be sure to exercise caution as you enjoy your adventure. Keep in mind that bathrooms are not available on site during the winter months when the Farm Store is closed.

A trail map is available online or at the kiosk at the farm to help you navigate. Remember to follow the Leave No Trace principles: carry in, carry out, and leave it better than you found it.
