I wanted to give it three tries before doing something crazy..... But after much deliberation I'm adding Life of the South Catering's Pimento Cheese and Crackers to my official list of best things I've ever eaten. This is only the 8th entry to a list that encompasses 37 years of eating.

The Pimento Cheese is creamy and mild and you can tell quality shredded cheese is being used! The well seasoned cracker brings the boom and together they're the perfect bite!

Life of the South Catering is located in Downtown Newnan and you can pick this stuff up from their Market Menu Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 and Saturdays 9:00-1:00!

Haven't posted in a while but wanted to show some love to Mama Gladys' Food Truck in the Newnan area! This was great chicken, Mac, and collards! Good soul food is a lost art! What's your favorite spot?

We're always looking for a good breakfast burrito and we found a GREAT one at Rose's Tacos in Peachtree City! This is their bacon burrito and we added potatoes and ate it with their mild green sauce/salsa! Wash it all down with one of their fresh Agua Frescas and you'll be ready for the day! Or a nap!

Rose's is located at 1107 Crosstown Road in Peachtree City and they're open Monday-Saturday 7:00am-8:00pm with breakfast until 11:00!

In my quest for the areas BEST Cheese Steak I found myself at Pizza54 in Peachtree City a few weeks back. The sandwich isn't on their menu but they're still offering it currently!

The sandwich was GREAT! It didn't dethrone Apollo's in Newnan for my favorite in the area but it might be the best "philly" in Fayette county. The soft toasted bread really set it apart from others and the fries are some of my favorite anywhere so it was a great meal! If you go on a Saturday or Sunday you can get their wings for $.50 each as well which I highly recommend.

For those not interested in a cheese steak, you really can't go wrong with ANY of their sandwiches or pizzas. My favorites are probably the chicken Bacon ranch pizza, the chicken club sandwich, or the Prosciutto sandwich.

Wanted something light so went with the veggie plate at Alley's BBQ today! All jokes aside, they've got some of the best sides around! The dirty brisket rice is my favorite right now. I always add a bunch of BBQ sauce. Can't go wrong with the turkey or brisket either!

They'll be at it today until 7:30 and back for lunch and dinner on Friday! Check them out at the old Wishbone Location in Newnan Across from Dairy Queen!

We made the trip to Fat Matt's Rib Shack in Atlanta for lunch and it was well worth the drive! These may be the states BEST ribs! The collards and sweet potato pie were good as well! Emmy, our littlest food reviewer and resident lemonade expert, gave the lemonade TWO THUMBS UP!

We followed recipe for Kentuckyaki Chicken and it was delicious! We threw ours on the grill and added some zucchini and onions! Got to try some of that Bourbon Barrel Foods Soy Sauce next!
