Because sometimes the biggest takeaway isn’t what people said about your product…

It’s what they say about YOU and what you’re building.

I went to Invest Fest looking to make connections, learn and get inspired.

I left reminded that sometimes you have to put your brand in the room before the room knows it needs you.

I brought the desserts.
I started the conversations.
I shared my story.
I made the connections.

And now, more people know Dijah Bakes.

That weekend wasn’t just about getting people to taste my desserts.

It was about planting seeds.

For partnerships.
For events.
For baking experiences.
For education.
For bigger rooms.

And I’m standing there waiting like, “Sooooo… what are you thinking?!” 👀😂

Then he finally gives me the verdict:

“It’s good.”

SIR. ALL THAT BUILDUP FOR “IT’S GOOD”?! 😂😭

But honestly, I’ll take it. 🩷

Sometimes you don’t need a long review. That first reaction—and watching someone go back for another bite—says enough.

Listen, I’m not here to tell you to stop enjoying dessert.
