We poured the slab for our well-house before Spring had settled in. Lots of interruptions like re-roofing our house after the big snow, work, burglary at our shop, work, and more work, but we’re finally making headway again.

This one was a Christmas present for our girls. With the exception of the 3/4” plywood subfloor, every bit of lumber for this build came off our sawmill on the farm. The siding was shaped on the table saw as well as the cedar shingles. The dormer was a proof of concept for the roof pitch angles we’ve planned for our house when we build.

A driveway entrance for a local customer, this timber frame build was a challenge of scale. Built from 24 foot 8x8s, the timbers were pressure treated in Amity. The structure should last 30+ years. All that remains are the white oak pegs and job site installation.
