Register today! Rooted in Resilience: Learning Circles for Farmers and Landowners – Fill out form https://forms.office.com/r/Z0eNmzd223
What is a learning circle? AFT Learning Circles are women and non-binary centered spaces for folks in agriculture, designed to cultivate a sense of community and peer-to-peer learning by fostering meaningful discussion amongst those who attend. Rooted in decentering hierarchy, these non-lecture conversations are facilitated so everyone has time and space to share at their own level of comfort and learn from each other. We will be following the cultural norms outlined in this guidance document, https://tinyurl.com/2k2xen8r . We invite you to review them at your convenience before your arrival.
Lunch and an optional farm tour will be included. Upon registration, you will receive an email with additional event details and farm safety guidance.
Date: Friday, January 9th
Time: 10AM - 3PM
Location: Hazzard Free Farm - Pecatonica, IL
AFT is excited to share a new learning circle series kicking off in January 2026! American Farmland Trust and Hazzard Free Farm invite you to join us for a full day learning circle to gather in community with women and non-binary farmers and landowners for discussions on farm resilience, production and infrastructure, food systems, business and social challenges, and farmer wellness.
