🦃🧡 ATTN: Local Businesses & Community Partners!
Thanksgiving may still be a few weeks away, but we’re already beginning to plan one of our favorite Fruits & Roots Community Fridge traditions!
For the past three years, we’ve been fortunate enough to provide FREE Thanksgiving meals to neighbors in need. These meals have been made possible entirely through the generosity of our community and the monetary donations we receive throughout the year.
This year, we’re hoping to get a few more local businesses involved to help us continue this special tradition!
We’re looking for local restaurants, grocers, caterers, and businesses who may be interested in partnering with us in any capacity.
Whether that means:
—Preparing or donating a portion of the meals
—Offering meals at a discounted cost
—Sponsoring a certain number of meals
—Making a monetary contribution toward the giveaway
No contribution is too small, and no single business needs to take on the entire project!
Our goal is to work together to provide approximately 100 Thanksgiving meals while allowing us to preserve more of our fridge’s funds for the ongoing needs of our neighbors throughout the year.
