🦆❤️ Yesterday I wasn’t able to post pictures, only a video, so today I had to share these handsome boys again!

Just look at how beautiful our Mandarin Ducks are! 😍🦆 I’m so glad they’ve finished their mottling and have grown in their gorgeous new feathers. They are absolutely stunning! ❤️

I could watch these boys all day. So thankful we get to enjoy their beauty here at Leadingham Ranch. 🥰🌿

🦆❤️ OUR BEAUTIFUL MANDARIN DUCKS ❤️🦆

There is just something so special about our Mandarin ducks. Their beautiful colors and unique markings make them little works of art, and we feel so lucky to have them as part of our Leadingham Ranch family. 🥰

✨ 3 Fun Facts About Mandarin Ducks:
• 🌏 They are native to East Asia, including China and Japan.
• 🦆 The males are known for their stunning, colorful feathers and upright orange “sail” feathers.
• ❤️ In Chinese culture, a pair of Mandarin ducks symbolizes love, companionship and togetherness.

They may be small, but they certainly make a BIG impression! ❤️

🦜 NATIONAL PET BIRD DAY to our Stormy, Frankie, Petey, and all our finches.

SEPTEMBER 17

Pet birds aren't just colorful companions.

They are intelligent, social animals with their own communication, routines, preferences, and emotional needs. Living with a bird means providing more than food and a cage — it means creating an environment where the bird can move, explore, forage, interact, and behave naturally.

From a tiny budgie to a cockatiel, conure, African grey, macaw, or cockatoo, every companion bird deserves thoughtful care and respect. 💛

Today, celebrate your feathered friends — and learn something new about the species you share your life with.

Happy National Pet Bird Day! 🐦💛
