Made the ride over to the Beloved Roots Ranch BBQ for Bravery contest in Alcoa, TN. I’m sure first year events can be stressful, but Chris and his group pulled it off and thank you for putting this together. Big shout out to Bigalzbbq for the pizza Friday night.

Our cook went smooth on the , but we are still tuning it in.

After leaving Outlaw BBQ Smokers we made a last second decision to head over to Kansas to the Big Blue River Days. They were short a few teams and we have always heard it was a great event and you may even see a few black squirrels so we headed that way. It didn’t disappoint we had a great time touring the town, car show, meeting so many nice folks, watching the relay race was definitely a highlight. Hope Man Meat BBQ recovers from his injury during the race but big congrats on the win.

We had zero experience with this new BFR but with some advice from Razorracks BBQ i felt we had a baseline to start. Other than my own self inflicted mistakes the cooker is amazing and the space is enough to do all 4 meats.

We ended up with 3 calls
Chicken
Ribs
Pork
And overall 10th place.
