A conversation can change someone’s life — but only if it’s understood.

For many Spanish-speaking families, navigating medical visits, legal services, or community resources can be overwhelming without language access. That’s why I’m taking the next step to train as a Spanish Community Interpreter.

From April 24–26, 2026, I will attend an intensive training at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey to strengthen the skills needed to interpret in medical, legal, and community settings.

I’m currently seeking sponsors and supporters who believe in language access and equity. Your support will help me participate in this program and continue building bridges between Spanish-speaking communities and essential services.

Because everyone deserves to understand and be understood.

If you’re interested in supporting this journey, I’d love to connect. 🌎

Sharing on behalf of our friends over at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture:

Beginning Farmer Equipment and Infrastructure Grants Open

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is now accepting applications for the Beginning Farmer Equipment and Infrastructure Grant. The program was established by the Minnesota Legislature and supports farmers by helping them access essential equipment and invest in on-farm infrastructure needed to support the future of their farm businesses.

Eligible projects include the purchase of agriculture specific equipment used to grow crops, raise livestock, and store farm products. Projects may also include on-farm infrastructure investments such as water access, irrigation systems, fencing, electricity, walk-in coolers, livestock handling systems, grain storage, and production-related structures like barns, livestock buildings, and greenhouses.
