🐔💕 WE HAVE OFFICIALLY BECOME CHICKEN GRANDPARENTS! 💕🐔

Well folks… the day has finally come. Mother Clucker’s Hen House has entered its GRANDPARENT ERA! 😂

We are beyond excited to introduce THREE precious baby biddies—the very first chicks ever hatched right here on our farm! 🐣🐣🐣

And let me just say… we have never been more excited to be mother cluckin’ grandparents! 😂❤️

Now, suddenly, everything makes sense. The sore back. The aching muscles. The exhaustion. The constant checking on everybody.

Apparently, I’ve been preparing for grandparenthood this whole time. 😂

Mama Hen is doing her thing, while Chicken Mama and Chicken Daddy are standing by, making sure these tiny little fluff balls have everything they need. They may be small, but they have already completely stolen our hearts!

There is something incredibly special about watching new life hatch right here on the little farm we’ve poured so much love into. These three are the beginning of another chapter for Mother Clucker’s Hen House, and we couldn’t be more proud. 🐔❤️

From our first flock… to our first hatch… to now being official chicken grandparents—we’re just getting started!

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Madame Cluckington 🕊️

One of the Original Golden Girls of Mother Clucker’s Hen House

With heavy hearts, full feeders, and more than a few tears (and probably a couple of feathers stuck to our clothes), we announce the passing of Madame Cluckington, one of the original Golden Girls of Mother Clucker’s Hen House.

Madame Cluckington crossed the rainbow bridge on July 27, 2026, after what we believe was heat exhaustion. Despite her flock providing her with the utmost care, endless love, plenty of shade, and enough ice-cold treats to make a chicken wonder if she’d accidentally checked into a five-star resort, the summer heat ultimately proved to be more than her little body could handle.

She was not just a chicken.

She was one of the originals.

She helped lay the foundation—quite literally—for what Mother Clucker’s Hen House has become. She was here before the fancy labels, the giveaways, the Facebook posts, the crazy chicken characters, and all the dreams of what this little family farm could become.

Madame Cluckington was part of the beginning.

And beginnings matter.

She gave us eggs, entertainment, feathers everywhere, and countless little moments that reminded us why we fell in love with raising chickens in the first place. She was one of the girls who helped teach our family that farming isn’t just about what you produce—it’s about the relationships you build with the animals entrusted to your care.

We will miss seeing her scratching around the yard, doing chicken things, and reminding everyone that she was, in fact, a very important member of the household. 😂

She leaves behind her flock sisters, her humans, and a family who loved her far more than we ever expected to love a chicken.

Fly high, sweet Madame Cluckington. 🐔🤍

May your dust baths be plentiful, your treats forever cold, your nesting boxes always cozy, and may there be an endless supply of mealworms waiting for you on the other side.

You were one of the originals.

You were loved.

You mattered.

And you will forever be a part of the story of Mother Clucker’s Hen House. ❤️🐔

Any local interest in home made fruit cakes?

Not the dried fruit brick granny used to love.. this baby is packed with fresh fruit and nuts unless specified that you’d like without!

We were planning on waiting to do this around the holidays but I wanted to see if anyone would even be interested

- I HATE those old fruit cakes however this is a family recipe passed down from my husbands family and the first time I tried it I couldn’t believe that little ole me actually LOVED what was truly a fruitcake!

I apologize that the page has been less active. Between work, babies and Zach being away at summer camp last week and next week, it’s a busy season for us!

We are still here, protecting, loving, and nurturing our flock!
